Propagate Bougainvillea Branches Easily: A Foolproof Method

Materials Needed:

Sharp, sterilized scissors
Transparent plastic wrap
Container with sand and pea

Steps:

Select Healthy Branches:

Choose 15 cm cuttings from mature, flowering plants. Cut just below a node at a right angle.

Prepare Planting Medium:

Fill a pot with half coarse sand and half peat. Make 15 cm spaced holes.

Prepare and Plant Cuttings:

Remove lower leaves, insert into holes, press soil firmly, and mist lightly.

Cover and Place:

Cover with plastic wrap, place in a wind-protected, bright area.

Use Growth Promoters:

Apply rooting hormone, keep soil moist with dechlorinated water.

Monitor:

Remove condensation daily. After a month, transplant rooted cuttings into larger pots.
