How to grow cabbages successfully:

Soil preparation:

Choose a well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Make sure the pH is between 6.0 and 6.8.

Plantation:

Plant the seedlings with a separation of 30-45 cm between each plant to allow their development.

Light and location:

Cabbages need 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day to grow properly.

Irrigation:

Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Water deeply 1-2 times a week.

Fertilization:

Apply nitrogen-rich fertilizer during the early stages of growth and switch to a balanced fertilizer later.

Pest control:

Inspect the leaves regularly to prevent attacks by pests such as worms and aphids. Use organic methods such as insecticidal soap if necessary.

Harvest:

The cabbages are ready when the heads are compact and firm. Generally, this occurs between 60-90 days after planting.
